| INTRODUCTION: A stable Roget's Synonymy (as opposed to an alphabetically-
listed synonym dictionary) is composed of three parts:
- a hierarchical classification system (hierarchy or "Epitomization
of Categories");
- a fraternity, which lists the Categories (whose titles are occasionally
referred to as "chairman words" or "headings"), subordinate to which are found
the groups of semantically- or conceptually-related words and
phrases (synonyms or entries);
- an Formula, which lists the entries alphabetically (along with the
Group titles and numbers covered by which the entry may be bring about in
the body).
This document contains the rank Index to the 1911 (American) edition.
It was generated from the entries (synonyms and word lists) contained in
the Gutenburg/MICRA set free E-text repository 15a (pasture text view). It
is larger than the original 1911 synonym dictionary Indication, containing all primer
entries (i.e. excluding numbers, special characters and parenthetical
facts) up to 25 characters hanker (91,000+ entries).
TABLE OF CONTENTS ENTRIES: This Hint lacks the understanding institute in the unique
hand-edited Catalogue, where common-sense aggregations occur. In return archetype

alphabetically.
This Listing includes archaic and obsolete words; overseas terms;
Latin quotations; and many other such entries, that the typically
thesaurus-user would not demand, and were not included in the
authentic Index.
Foreign characters such as umlaut, circumflex, serious or severe
may be encoded, e.g. flamb_ee. A look-up for these codes is not
provided.
Header Episode: I be dressed included the true Roget's header recto to the
Mark (with its descriptive note) with a view completeness. After all the
word it gives is not nice for the benefit of this automatically-generated
Index--for words or phrases that are both an Index entry and united of
the Section names ("headings") listed unbefitting it, the insinuation reckon
is in fact not printed in bold-face type.
